The Arts Cal: a place to search for events in the arts.
The Arts Cal was created by David Dantowitz, as an easy way to find and list events, auditions, openings, art shows, concerts, book readings, artist and author appearances, fund raisers, performances, etc. David has been creating location-based search tools for clients since 1997.
No one can anticipate where an idea will go once it starts, but here are the types of questions I'm hoping
The Arts Cal can answer: Content in The Arts Cal is dependent on sponsored listings. For $10 you can list your event, help fill empty seats, and get the word out to your community and visitors to your area. You can even create a listing that's not date specific, no start or end date. This enables you to have a permanent listing for an artist, group, or organization! Click Get Listed for more information. While recognizing that many things encompass "The Arts" please consider The Arts Cal akin to what you might find in a school bulletin. While not seeking to limit or censor the arts presented, this site is viewed by younger members of our communities and one goal is to be sure content is appropriate. If questions arise about a listings' web site, one option may be to list your event's phone and email contacts, but not the web site. |
